Privacy notice
What we store about visitors and about companies that write to us, in plain words.
Draft text, a lawyer has not read it yet
Who is responsible
Distril LLC, 1021 E Lincolnway, Suite 6007, Cheyenne, WY 82001, United States, runs Straightfare and decides how the data below is used. Write to [email protected] with any privacy request.
What we collect from visitors
- Page views. We log the page, the time, a broad class for the site that sent you, a broad device class such as phone or desktop, and the anonymous visit id from the cookie below. Page views do not store your IP address or your full browser string. Known bots are counted separately.
- One first-party cookie. It lasts 90 days and records the first page you landed on and where you came from, so we can tell which page led to a click. We do not use it for advertising and we do not give it to anyone.
- Clicks on company links. When you press Visit company we log which company, which spot on which page, the time and whether the visit looked like a bot, then send you on.
We use no advertising cookies and no third-party analytics or tracking scripts. The pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which sees your IP address when it serves them.
What companies send us
If you use the removal and correction form, we store your name, email, company, role and message so we can handle the request. We send it to our own mailbox and to a private Telegram chat that our team reads, so we can act on it quickly. We use it for nothing else.
Who else handles data
Our hosting provider and Cloudflare, our content delivery network, process requests to the site and see your IP address when they do. Telegram and our email provider handle removal requests as described above. We do not sell personal data.
Your choices
You can block or delete the cookie in your browser and the site still works. You can ask us to show, correct or delete what we hold about you by writing to the address above.
How long we keep each kind of data is still to be set.
